Welcome to Lime Academy Larkswood
At Larkswood, we have places for 800 children between the age of three and eleven. We are a multi-cultural school with over 20 nationalities represented.
Our ethos is clear – we put children first, we always look for ways to be brilliant and are values led, believing in displaying: Respect, Equity, Self-worth, Partnership, Enjoyment, Communication and Trust, in all we do.
We have high expectations for all our pupils and expect them to achieve the best possible outcomes, so they leave the school as confident learners who are well prepared for the next stage of their education.
Our curriculum is broad, balanced and motivational, encouraging all pupils to become independent thinkers and learners. We place a vital importance on life-long learning, aiming to prepare our pupils for the future workplace and to become global citizens.
Our pupils’ behaviour is exemplary, they are proud of their learning and of their school. Their efforts and successes are constantly celebrated.

The school was inspected by OFSTED on 11th and 12th of July 2023 and it deemed that we continue to be a good school. We are very proud of this achievement especially as the lead inspector particularly commented on the fact that;
"Pupils are happy and safe in school. Leaders are ambitious for what pupils can learn and do. Pupils study a broad curriculum. Teachers are subject experts. They explain new concepts clearly. Pupils learn to read extremely well."
With recent changes to our Governance we are strengthening our stakeholder voice and involvement and have implemented our Parental Participation Strategy. We are committed to building strong, positive relationships with parents and carers and by working in partnership, we aim to strengthen communication, inclusivity and engagement. Access to recorded footage is restricted to authorised personnel and retained only for as long as necessary in accordance with the school’s CCTV Policy.
